Weavery
The weavery provides essentially therapeutic, but meaningful skilled work, for villagers and co-workers. Residents learn to create and weave timeless Irish Tweeds and fine cotton fabrics, in an array of designs.
Inspiration for the colour combinations comes from the beautifully rugged landscape that is unique to the Clanabogan district just west of Omagh.

The woven cloth is made into various items, such as throws, scarves, hats, bags, tablemats and many other interesting items.

These are usually non-repeatable, and as a result you are unlikely to see anywhere in the world quite the same article. This means guaranteed exclusivity at reasonable prices for the discerning buyer, but more than that, the opportunity to own an article made with the utmost care by people with learning disabilities, who nonetheless have much talent to offer the commercial world. Try it; you will not be disappointed.
